The Rifugio Lago d’Ajal is a delight for grown-ups and children thanks to its location by the lake d’Ajal. Mrs Sandra is the queen of the kitchen where she prepares traditional dishes and desserts as well such as mousses, “bavarese” (ice-cream cake with milk, eggs and cream) and panna cotta. It is very easy to get to during the summer and you can also fish in the lake or taste fish dishes directly from the restaurant such as the trout “tagliolini”. In the winter you can book your dinner and you can be taken to the restaurant by snowcat and snowmobile and to enjoy a funny downhill with sledge. Between the several menu dishes here it is a special one: beef bourguignon served with one of Sandra’s delicious sauces.
