Start from Cortina centre along state road 51 towards Dobbiaco, turn left to Cadin and  reach trail 416/409 to Passo Posporcora, then turn right into trail 408 to Pian de ra Spines. Continue on the left along dirt road 417, cross the bridge on the Boite river, turn left and then right, climb uphill along the dirt road as far as Sant Uberto. 

At the parking area, turn right on the  dirt road to the east. Go through the underpass, turn left, reach the old railway path and continue for 2 km as far as trail 203, on your right. Climb up Val Padeon to Forcella Son Forca. Go over the col and descend on trail 203 to Passo Tre Croci. 

Cross the road and take trail 209 to Val Bona, Cristallo and continue uphill on trail 120 to Rifugio Città di Carpi. Leave the trail and take to the left to Misurina, Lago di Antorno. Continue uphill to Rifugio Aronzo, then take trail 101, go round the base of Tre Cime di Lavaredo as far as Rifugio Locatelli. 

Descend along trail 102 to Lago di Landro, turn left into the old railway path and climb to Passo Cimabanche. 

Just after the pass, on your right, take trail 108, a dirt road leading to Forcella Lerosa. From there, the itinerary is on  the Cortina Trail track.
